Christmas Goodies
This week in the house, Sixth Form pupils have been getting into the festive spirit by making some lovely cards and decorations to be sold at the school Christmas fair. Pupils worked together to develop ideas, produce the cards and research costings. They look great, we hope you come along to purchase some!
Docker Bakery Visit
6th Form Catering & Hospitality pupils were invited on a guided tour of Docker Bakery. Pupils were shown how the bread is made and baked on an industrial scale, we also got to look at the large equipment in action including the biggest oven we have ever seen!
The pupils had a great time learning about careers in the sector and had some really thoughtful questions for the staff at Docker. We all had a brilliant day and were lucky enough to sample some of the bakery's cookies once we returned to school! We are really grateful to Docker for hosting us and hope to visit again soon.
