 Number (Maths) Intervention

At our school, we implement targeted 1:1 and small group Maths interventions for identified pupils to strengthen their knowledge, understanding, and skills within the Maths curriculum. These interventions are led by a Maths specialist and are designed to address specific gaps in learning, as identified through baseline assessments and progress tracking.

Intervention programmes typically span one to two terms, allowing sufficient time to focus on key areas of need. Sessions are tailored to each pupil’s starting point and learning profile, ensuring that support is both personalised and curriculum-aligned. Through structured teaching, practical resources, and ongoing collaboration with class teachers, these interventions aim to accelerate progress and build confidence in Maths.
