Academic Interventions
There are a range of interventions at The Beacon: these are appropriately planned to complement the curriculum by supporting pupil learning and the promotion of social and emotional well-being. We have the same goal for each and every child at The Beacon – that they will be supported to reach their full potential as confident, resilient and independent young people.

Number (Maths) Intervention
Intervention programmes typically span one to two terms, allowing sufficient time to focus on key areas of need. Sessions are tailored to each pupil’s starting point and learning profile, ensuring that support is both personalised and curriculum-aligned. Through structured teaching, practical resources, and ongoing collaboration with class teachers, these interventions aim to accelerate progress and build confidence in Maths.
