Why work with a pupil from The Beacon?

Would you like to work with an outstanding school? Would you like to work with inspiring young people? Do you have a business that could provide a pupil with a work placement? Are you an employer that could come and deliver a workshop in our school? If the answer is yes to any of these questions then we would love to hear from you.

Pupils at The Beacon participate in an inclusive careers programme from EYFS through to year 14. This includes work experience appropriate to their age and ability. It includes careers advice, careers workshops and employer encounters. Pupils at The Beacon are motivated, polite, hardworking and keen to learn. They are all on their own journey to adulthood, enjoy learning new things and meeting new people.

Some of our pupils need a bit more help than others, but we know when they are provided with opportunities that are meaningful and work for them, they go on to do amazing things!
