Our Aims:
All pupils will have access to a wide range of information and resources related to careers and onward progression pathways appropriate to their needs.
Pupils will have the opportunity to meet with a level 7 careers advisor for either a 1-1 discussion or a group discussion based on their onward progression route.
Pupils will have the opportunity to participate in work experience in year 10 and 6th form appropriate to their needs.

Staff support is provided to some pupils, as required, to support them to complete a work placement.
Pupils and their families will be informed about a range of opportunities available to them and will have the opportunity to meet with local providers at our Next Steps events.
Pupils will be provided with opportunities to learn about different job roles and progression route, as well as learning how to write covering letters and CVs if appropriate.
Some pupils will access and work towards the ASDAN accreditation as part of their curriculum offer.
Pupils will be given the opportunity to develop a better understanding of their own skills and qualities and how these can be transferred into the world of work.
